Diane M. Danbury, 78, of Hamilton, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a lifelong resident of Hamilton Township. Diane is a retiree of the State of New Jersey Department of Treasury, where she was employed as principal clerk for many years. She was a life member of Colonial Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary, and a life member of the New Jersey State Firemen’s Association. Diane enjoyed collecting butterflies, dolls and was a die-hard fan of Elvis music. Predeceased by her parents Harold and Myrtle Cooper, her brothers Robert and Donald Cooper; she is survived by her husband James E. Danbury; her daughter Ann Marie Carlucci; several grandchildren, her sisters Joyce Marshall and Carol Watt, her stepdaughters Kelly Leili and Michele Ann Matias, and several nieces and nephews. A committal prayer will be held on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 at 11:00AM at Greenwood Cemetery Mausoleum, Hamilton Twp., NJ. All attendees are asked to arrive no later than 10:45AM. The viewing for Diane will be held on Monday evening from 6-8 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
