Gregory P. Britton, 68, of Hamilton, NJ , passed away on Wednesday, June 9, 2021 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton.
Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a longtime resident of Hamilton Twp. Greg is a retiree of the Mercer County Department Correction after 25 years of dedicated service. Some of his hobbies included coin collecting and was an avid Detroit Lions and Tigers Fan. He was a kind, caring selfless man who would go out of his way to help others.
Predeceased by his parents Sherman R. Jr. and Virginia Britton; he is survived by his sister MaryLou (Britton) Mayoros; his nephew Justin Mayoros and his wife Amanda; his caretaker Jill Piorkowski and numerous friends and colleagues.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 6 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
Visitation for Greg will be held on Monday afternoon from 4-6 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations ca be made to the Mercer County Wildlife Center, P.O. Box 161, Titusville, NJ 08560.
