Anna M. DiMemmo, 101, passed away peacefully with her daughter by her side on Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center, Trenton. Born in Trenton, NJ on Bond Street, Anna was a lifelong area resident moving to Lawrenceville where she resided in her current residence for 73 years. She attended Jefferson Elementary School and Fisk School. At the age of 16 she went to work to help support her family by babysitting and working for the School for the Deaf in West Trenton. She joined the war effort during World War II, sewing backpacks for the Army at Atlantic Products Corporation. Anna met her husband, Albert N. DiMemmo at a St. James Church picnic; the two were happily married for 77 years. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Anna will be dearly missed by all. Anna was a longtime member of St. James Roman Catholic Church and a member of their senior citizens club, and the Lawrence Twp. Senior Citizens Club #2. Family and friends will remember her for her celebrated Christmas cookies - 8 different kinds, including chocolate chip and delectable pizzelles. No family gathering was complete without her deviled eggs. She loved to cook and enjoyed watching the food channel. She enjoyed having her family of 8 siblings and their families for the holidays. Sharing Christmas cookies with family and friends brought her great pleasure.
