Grace C. Kelly, 77, of Lawrenceville died peacefully on Tuesday surrounded by her loving family.
Born and raised in Trenton, Grace was a resident of Lawrenceville for the past 53 years. She retired in 2007 after many years of dedicated service with the NJ Department of Community Affairs. She was a parishioner of the Church of Saint Ann and a member of the Altar Rosary Society.
Daughter of the late Harry and Cecelia Frascella Reckett and sister of the late Anthony Reckett, Grace is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 54 years James J. Kelly, her daughters, Jane A. Edgar and husband Bryson and Karen A. Kelly and James D. Olsen; her grandchildren, Nealon P. Edgar, Kathryn G. Edgar and Lauren P. Edgar also surviving is her sister Diane Scozzaro and husband Michael, her sister-in-law Ellen Kelly and her brother-in-law Thomas P. Kelly and his wife Sandra and many nieces and nephews.
Grace was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother above all else. She treasured her family and embraced every moment with them. She especially loved her role as a grandmother to Nealon, Kathryn and Lauren. She was a very kind hearted and thoughtful person and was loved by everyone who knew her. She will be dearly missed and will forever be in our hearts.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Grace on Monday, November 16, 2020 at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Church, 343 South Broad Street, Trenton, NJ 08608. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
Visitation will be from 9:30 AM until time of Mass at the church. Mandated social distancing and wearing of masks at all times will be enforced. The family appreciates your cooperation.
