Obituary of Charles Marianik
Please share a memory of Charles to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
It is with very heavy hearts that we share the passing of Charles Joseph Bernard Marianik (“Chuck”) on Friday, October 2, 2020. Chuck passed away peacefully at Wayne Memorial Hospital in Honesdale, PA surrounded by his loving family. Cherished son of Charles and Rosemary. Husband of Wei (Zhang). Devoted and loving father of Chuckie and Lily. He will be lovingly remembered by his nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.
Chuck was selfless, thoughtful, compassionate, loyal and humble – he lived his life true to his values. He loved bowling, fishing and boating with his many buddies. He was an avid fan of the New Orleans Saints. He acted as Assistant Scout Master when his son Chuckie was a member of Boy Scout Troop 27 in Lawrenceville, NJ. He was incredibly handy with home renovations and loved cooking and grilling and experimenting with new recipes. Chuck had a wicked sense of humor and was always ready with a humorous remark to make you smile. He was a nurturing, loving, dependable and generous soul, who gave from his enormous heart to his family and friends. He was always there to listen and to lend a hand. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Born in London, Ontario, Canada he was a resident of Pocono Lake for the past 3 years. He formerly resided in Lawrenceville, New Jersey for 27 years and London, Ontario.
Charles was a Technical Sales Specialist with HORIBA Scientific of Piscataway, NJ for the past 6 years. Prior to that, as International VP of Sales, he traveled the world for PTI, Inc. for 24 years until it was sold to HORIBA.

The family kindly requests everyone honor the guidelines so everyone has the opportunity to enter the building and offer condolences to them.
There will be a separate viewing in London in early November. Date to be determined subject to U.S./ Canada travel restrictions. Information when finalized will be posted to the Donahue Funeral Home website. Private burial will take place in St. Peter’s Cemetery, London, Ontario, Canada.
