Thomas E. Shockley, Jr. Obituary

Thomas E. Shockley, Jr., 49, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Thursday, September 24, 2020 at home.


Born in Princeton, NJ, he was a longtime resident of Lawrence Twp. Thomas was a graduate of Princeton High School, Class of 1990. He was employed with the Institute of Advanced Studies in Princeton. Thomas was a parishioner at The Church of St. Ann. He was an avid NY Giants and Yankees fan. He enjoyed bowling, trips to Cape May, and sightseeing boat trips in Cape May on the Whale Watcher. Thomas’ most treasured and cherished time was spent with his beloved sons Ryan and Jack whom he thought the world of. He was a loving and devoted father, son, nephew, cousin and friend who will be dearly miss by all who knew and loved him.


Predeceased by his father Thomas E. Shockley, Sr.; he is survived by his two sons Ryan and Jack Shockley; his mother Linda Lee Nestor; two aunts and one uncle Catherine and George Johnson, and Marta Lowe; several cousins and friends.


A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at 10AM at The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Attendees are asked to arrive at the church no later than 9:45AM. There will be no calling hours.


Please follow all social distancing guidelines and masks must be worn at all times.


Interment will follow at Colonial Memorial Park, Hamilton, NJ.
