Obituary of Joseph Jusiewicz

Joseph B. Jusiewicz, 71, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Sunday, August 2, 2020 at home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong Lawrenceville resident. Joseph was a Veteran of the Vietnam War, having proudly served the country with the US Army. He was the recipient of numerous medals including Army Commendation, Army Good Conduct, National Defense, Vietnam Service, Vietnam Campaign, Combat Action and Expert Marksman medals. Joseph is a retiree of The Department of Transportation, where he retired as an Administrative Analyst III. Joseph was the former Commander of the VFW Post 3022, a parishioner at The Church of St. Ann and a volunteer for the Lawrence Twp. Patriotic Committee. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved going camping, fishing, and canoeing. He also enjoyed woodworking and had a great passion for American History. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed. Predeceased by his parents Joseph and Alice Jusiewicz; he is survived by his wife Lois Jusiewicz; his daughters and sons-in-law Jennifer and Kevin Dugal, and Amy and Stephen Tkacs; his grandchildren Kyle and Emme Dugal, Hailey and Reilly Tkacs; his brothers Edward and John Jusiewicz; several nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held privately.
