Obituary of Betty A. Young

Betty A. Young, 83, of Lawrenceville, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2020 surrounded by her loving family. Betty’s passion for life was always foremost. She enjoyed the simple things in life, like going to the beach/pool, cooking for others and was an avid shopper. She will be greatly missed for her sense of humor and her immense caring and nurturing ways for others. She had many, many friends, including her beloved four-legged ones. She leaves with them many fond memories of love and good times they will cherish forever. Everyone has a “Betty story.” Mom, you will be forever loved and missed. Predeceased by her parents Andrew and Theresa Weiss; she is survived by her brother John Weiss; two daughters Cynthia and John Wiltsey, and Sandra and Mario Delgado. Betty’s greatest joy in life were her grandchildren Scott Griffith (Robyn), Tara Power (Matthew), Eric Delgado (Ellen), Lyndsey Shaw, Alexandra Wiltsey, and Brandon Delgado; two nephews and nine great-grandchildren. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, August 4, 2020 from 4-6PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Family eulogy will be held at 5:30PM. Interment will be held privately. All social distancing regulations are in effect, and masks must be worn at all times.
