Obituary of Nina "Annette" Kustrup

With profound sadness we announce the passing of Nina Annette Kustrup on July 25, 2020, our loving and devoted wife, mother and friend to all whose lives she touched. Born in Bombay, India on November 25, 1940 to Danish parents Holgar and Inge Hindenburg. She attended her primary school years in Copenhagen, Denmark and Upminster, England. She spent the remainder of her school years at the Leeland Junior High in Bethesda, Maryland, National Cathedral in Washington, DC and Le Grande Verger in Switzerland. She completed her education with studies at the University of Arizona and George Washington University. Annette was the beloved wife of Dr. William Kustrup and devoted mother to Lise (Thomas) Kustrup-Martin, Susan Kustrup and Michael (Christine) Kustrup. Proud Grandmother of Kristen, Taylor, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Robert, Elizabeth, and Matthew and Great Grandmother to Elena. Cherished sister of Lise Lotte Becker and Aunt to many nieces and nephews. Annette lived a full life as a wonderful wife, mother, and friend to many. She was an incredible cook, was highly skilled with knitting, and enjoyed organizing social events. She also enjoyed traveling the world and spending time with her many friends at the shore. Most of all she loved her family. She will be dearly missed and forever in our hearts. Ceremony and burial to be private. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Heart Association or to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.
