Obituary of Kip J. Anderson

Kip J. Anderson, 62, of Lawrenceville, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Fox Chase Cancer Center, Philadelphia, PA Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville. Kip was employed with First Transit Services as a maintenance manager. He was a longtime member of Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church. Some of his many hobbies included camping, fishing and riding motorcycles. He loved being with his family, on vacation or just hanging home. Kip cherished the times he spent with his sons, Cody and Ryan: going to the movies, opening day of trout fishing, quiet times sitting by the camp fire, or teaching his sons how to cut the lawn on his prized John Deere. Kip was a certified scuba dive master and a small engine repair expert. He was a church Elder, a Cub Scout Leader, and Chartered Organization Rep for both Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts Predeceased by his father Philip K. Anderson; he is survived by his wife Susan Phillips Anderson; his sons Cody and Ryan Anderson; his mother Eleanor L. Anderson, his sisters Debbie Hurley and Donna Fasanella, his brothers Michael Anderson, and Shawn Anderson and his husband Jose Obien; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Harry and Fran Phillips; his brother-in-law and wife Jim and Beth Phillips, Uncle and Aunt, Rich and Debbie Williams, several loving nieces, nephews, and countless friends. All may come to Graveside services which will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020 at 11AM at Ewing Church Cemetery, 100 Scotch Road, Ewing, NJ. Due to social gathering directives, masks must be worn, and social distancing will apply. There will be no public visitation at the funeral home.
