Paul J. Russo, 69, of Lawrenceville passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 9, 2020 at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania surrounded by his loving wife, son and daughter. Born in Trenton, Paul was a lifelong resident of Lawrence Township. He was a graduate of Lawrence High School Class of 1969 and a graduate of Rider University Class of 1973. Upon graduation he joined the family business, Lawrenceville Home Improvement Center, where he remained owner and operator for forty six years. Paul was an avid fisherman and most of all a devoted family man. Son of the late John and Suzanne Russo, Paul is survived by his loving wife Catherine Russo; his son Bryan Russo and his wife Leigh; his daughter Lisa Kuzviwanza and her husband Anthony; his five grandchildren which were the light in his eyes, Kayla, Karlee, Liliana, Mason and Alexandra. Paul is also survived by his brother John Russo and his wife Diana, his sisters Terry Tucker and her husband Thomas and Simone Russo and her partner Karen Baker; his sister-in-law Terry Forsyth and several nieces and nephews. Public visitation will take place on Wednesday from 9 AM until 10:30 AM in the daily chapel of the Church of Saint Ann. Due to social gathering restrictions we ask all visitors to enter through the rear entrance and all visitors will be required to wear a facial covering and immediately return to their vehicles and leave the premises to allow for additional visitors to pay their final respects. The family is grateful for everyone's cooperation. Following visitation a private mass will then be offered for family members at the Church of Saint Ann with entombment in Princeton Memorial Park. Additionally those wishing to pay respects to the family may also gather as the funeral procession will pass his place of business, Lawrenceville Home Improvement Center, 2821 Brunswick Pike on Wednesday, June 17, 2020 at approximately 12 Noon en route to the cemetery. The procession will pause for a moment to recognize those in attendance and then proceed to the cemetery. Due to church and cemetery restrictions regarding floral tributes memorial contributions in lieu of flowers can be made to the Abramson Cancer Center at the University of Pennsylvania, 3535 Market St., Suite 750, Phila., PA 19104-9709 or at PennMedicine.org/Abramson/Donate.
