Marilyn Sommers, 89, of Lawrenceville and formerly of Ewing, passed away on Wednesday, May 6, 2020 at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Center, Lawrenceville. Born in Trenton, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Ewing, before moving to Lawrenceville. Marilyn was a longtime parishioner at the Church of St. Ann, a member of its’ Altar Rosary Society, and volunteered at the front desk with the Faith Development Center and was a coordinator for the Helping Hands at the church. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend who will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. Predeceased by her parents Robert and Anna Mansell, her husband Edward Sommers and her brother Robert Mansell, Jr.; she is survived by her children Rhonda Vaughan, Brian Sommers and Roberta Wilczek; her grandchildren Samantha, William, Katherine, Eryyn and Caitlyn, her great-granddaughter Alice. Due to the coronavirus and gathering restrictions, funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to The Church of St. Ann Faith Development Center, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648
