Chitra Evangeline Stanley, 45, of Lawrenceville, N.J., joined our Risen Lord on Easter Sunday, April 12, 2020. She is predeceased by her parents Saradha and Kamalakannan and is survived by her devoted husband, Stanley Moses, and two loving daughters Irene and Rowena Stanley. She is additionally survived by her brother Balu and sisters Girija and Sudhandra, and sisters-in-law, Petunia, Elizabeth and Helen and brother-in-law Carlton and their familes as well as many beloved aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Born in Chennai, India on December 8, 1974 she married Stanley, the love of her life in 1996. They had two beautiful daughters before relocating to Lawrenceville, NJ to raise their children. Chitra graduated from Womens Christian College, Chennai, India with a Bachelors Degree in Science and pursued a very successful career as a stay at home Mom and a talented independent cosmetologist.
She enjoyed spending time with her husband and children; watching movies and music shows with her husband; shopping with her daughters; cooking with a passion and making excellent dosa maavu, the envy of all local restaurants; and cheerfully hanging out with friends and family.
A private celebration of Chitra’s life will be held at Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Home with an internment to follow at the Fountain Lawn Memorial Cemetery, 545 Eggerts Crossing Road.
