Obituary of Kathleen A. (Colavita) Woolston

Kathleen A. (Colavita) Woolston, 74, of Hamilton, N.J., passed away on Friday, April 10, 2020. She is predeceased by her parents Leon and Vita (Immordino) Colavita of Lawrenceville, NJ. She is survived by her devoted husband, Ronald (Ron) J. Woolston, and two loving daughters Leigh (Robert) Karsch of Oreland, P.A., and Lindsay (Erik) Karlson of Lawrenceville, N.J., as well as her grandchildren, Harrison Karsch of Oreland, P.A., and Charley Korsos of Lawrenceville, N.J. She is additionally survived by her brother Leon (Betty) Colavita of Hilton Head, S.C., and sister-in-law, Terri (Alan) Mollot of Monroe Township, N.J., as well as many beloved aunts, cousins, nieces, nephews and dear friends. Born in Trenton, New Jersey in 1945, to Leon and Vita Colavita, Kathleen (Kathy) attended Eldridge Park Elementary School and graduated from Notre Dame H.S. in Lawrenceville in 1963. In July of 1968 she married Ron of Yardville, N.J., before relocating to Hamilton Township to raise their children. Kathy retired from Educational Testing Service in Princeton, N.J., in December 2006 after 16 years of service, receiving the Vice-Presidential award. She enjoyed spending time with her husband; her annual summer vacations with family and friends on Long Beach Island; reading fiction; shopping with her daughters; listening to oldies; and dancing the jitterbug with her cousin Pasquale (Pat) Colavita. She adored spending time with her grandchildren, and was filled with pride while cheering them on in their extracurricular activities. All services for Kathy will be private. Kathy will be interred at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Trenton, N.J., 08610.
