Margaret P. “Pat” Hickman, 93, of Bridgewater and formerly of Ewing, peacefully passed away on Sunday April 5, 2020.
Born in Sheffield, England she was a resident of Ewing for many years prior to her move to Bridgewater.
Daughter of the late George and Margaret Newboult and sister of the late Barbara Bowles. She is survived by her husband Thomas R. Hickman;
Her children and their spouses: Elizabeth (Beth) & Robert Russo, Jeffrey & Tammy Hickman, and Jane & Thomas Bushar.
Also surviving is her sister, Jean A. Newboult. Grandchildren: Katie & Laura Franc, Evan, Blake, Lindsay, & Cameron Russo, Stephanie Hickman, LeeAnn & Steven Bushar.Great-grandchildren: Corey, Ryder, & Brayden Kinnevy, Issac & Aaron Russo. Nieces: Fiona & Debbie Bowles.
Margaret was a beloved sister of the Order of the Eastern Star. She served as Worthy Matron Morning Star #22 OES: 1985-85, 1986-87, 2002-03 and 2008-09. She also served as Worthy Grand Color Bearer in 1989-1990 and Worthy Grand Electa in 2001-2002 for the Grand Chapter of NJ, OES
Due to the public gathering restrictions, her burial and a celebration of her life will be held in the future.
