To my beautiful cousin Marlene. I loved all the great times we had as kids. You were there for my first kiss and my first cigarette on the train tracks. You always were the life of the party. Then our teenage years were even better. I was able to introduce you to the love of your life, Walt and I was so happy for the life you both made. I love you with all my ❤️. It’s never goodbye. So I’ll just say till we meet up again. Love you forever, Michelle, Ed & Children

Aunt Marlene,
Your strength inspired us all. You will continue to inspire me everyday, you were the strongest fighter and gave Glioblastoma a run for its money. I will miss you immensely. My favorite memory of you was when you brought me to the movie theatre to see the Twilight movies with Madison for the first time. I always looked at you as the cool aunt, you brought so much fun and spunk to our family. We all love you and will miss you more than words could describe.

There are far too many great memories to list them all. Since meeting Marlene over 27 years ago, my fondest memory of my sister-in-law, and one that she is probably still demonstrating as she looks over us, is her true grit and determination. This is not something she started 2 years ago, it was a part of her, in her DNA. Marlene demonstrated this daily, and surrounded her family with it, not to mention her unyielding courage. She led by example, and was a fierce supporter of her family. I will greatly miss Marlene.
Watching Mar and Walt “cut-up-the-floor” dancing at our wedding; is one memory I will never forget. To this day, Kim and I watch the wedding video and admire the dance!
Those we love never truly leave us……

I only met Marlene once, but we were friends on Facebook, and I was so impressed by her strength and determination. She was a warrior, and she went down fighting. She was an inspiration!
