Obituary of Gary Lee Fellers

Gary Lee Fellers, 79 of Lawrenceville died peacefully on Tuesday at Capital Health Medical Center Hopewell.
Born in Trenton Gary was a lifelong Lawrenceville resident. He was a Marine Corp Veteran and received his honorable discharge in 1969. He received his B.S. from Rutgers University and began a long distinguished career as an Environmental Engineer specializing in waste water management. He began his career with the Ewing Lawrence Sewage Authority where he remained until 1976. He then was employed with several different companies and with consolidation and acquisition was currently with Partner Engineering and Science Inc. of Eatontown, NJ. Gary was very proud of the numerous awards and honors bestowed upon him in both his personal and professional life.
Gary was also involved in his community as a member of the American Legion Post #414 of Lawrenceville, a former member of Lions International and a member and judge with the American Rabbit Breeders Association. He also loved to “hangout” with friends at both the Rt. 1 Diner and Michael’s Diner both in Lawrenceville.
Son of the late E, Woodrow and Susan Stout Fellers he is survived by his sons, Jeffrey Lee Fellers and Gregory Lee Fellers; his grandsons, James, Joshua and Jakob Fellers and many friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Saturday from 9 to 11 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors 650 Lawrence Road Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Attendees will be limited in time duration so all may be able to pay respects to the family. Private graveside services for family members only will follow in the Highland Cemetery, Hopewell, NJ
