Obituary of Edward H. Darrah, Jr.

Edward H. Darrah, Jr.,76, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Wednesday, January 22, 2020 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell. Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a former resident of Levittown, before moving to Lawrenceville 52 years ago. Edward was an over the road truck driver for many years. He retired from Heavenly Fish in Ewing, where he was a dispatcher. Some of his hobbies included hunting, word search puzzles and enjoyed spending time with his family. Predeceased by his mother Cecilia H. Darrah, his grandson Zachary “Zakk” Darrah, his sister Dorothy Vastola; he is survived by his wife Patricia A. Darrah; his children and their spouses Dawn Marie Darrah, Edward Darrah and Tammy Little, Scott Darrah, Steven and Nancy Darrah; and his daughter-in-law Valerie Darrah; his grandchildren Kaylee and Colin Darrah; his brother and sister-in-law Eugene and Mickey Darrah, his sister Susan Hendrickson; his special sister-in-law and her children Mary Ellen Burch, Sherrie and Guy Calderone Brian and Tara Burch, two great nieces Lauren Burch and Alyssa Calderone; many other nieces, nephews, cousins and family members. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, January 25, 2020 at 9:30AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Interment will be held at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton. The viewing will be held on Saturday morning from 8:30-9:30AM at the funeral home.
