Dominic E. Angeloni, 102, of Ewing died peacefully at home on Saturday December 28, 2019. Born in Trenton on March 19, 1917 he resided in Ewing for the past 70 years. He was a WW II Army Air Corp Veteran and served as a sergeant in the 508th Engineering Squadron. He was proud to receive the American Service Medal, Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the WW II Victory Medal. He was employed by TRW, formerly Crescent Wire & Cable Company in Trenton for 42 years retiring in 1978 as a Foreman in the shipping department. He enjoyed playing the clarinet and saxophone in a band for many years. He was a former member of the Incarnation – St. James Parish and a member of the Busy C’s Senior Citizen Club of Ewing. Son of the late Sabatino and Angelina Dileo Angeloni, husband of the late Violet Lupariello Angeloni and father of the late Donna M. Angeloni and Sheila A. MacDonald he is survived by his daughter Diane de Flesco and her husband Robert of Delaware Township, his grandchildren, Kimberly de Flesco of Manhattan, Lindsay de Flesco and her husband Patrick Casey of Hillsborough and Robert de Flesco, III and his wife Sarah of Weston, Fl; also surviving are his great-grandchildren, Brooke, Annika and Ryan Casey along with Evelyn and Robert de Flesco, IV and the anticipated birth of another great-grandson in 2020. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He cherished his family and was always willing to help whenever needed. His focus on his love for family was endless. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Monday January 6th beginning at 9:30 AM in the chapel at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. A Mass of Christian burial will follow at 11 AM in the Church of St. Ann. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Memorial contributions to honor Dominic may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at stjude.org.
