Obituary of Estelle R. Hann

Please share a memory of Estelle to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Estelle R. Hann (nee Perlingiero) 81, of Lawrenceville peacefully passed into eternal life on Saturday surrounded by her loving family. Born and raised in Trenton, Estelle moved to her favorite beach town, Wildwood Crest, where she and her husband enjoyed retirement for 31 years prior to moving to live with their daughter in Lawrenceville, NJ. As a single mom raising five children, she served her community by volunteering at St. Anthony’s Grammar School working in the cafeteria and leading the Tonette’s, where she mentored young women in faith and leadership skills. She also worked the polls for many state and federal elections in Trenton and Wildwood Crest. She enjoyed cooking, country line dancing, bingo, attending exercise classes, listening and dancing to 50s music, sewing, and always had the latest technology gadgets. As a parishioner of the Church of St. Ann, she was a member of the St. Ann’s Rosary Altar Society. Estelle had a very strong devotion to our Blessed Mother and prayed the rosary daily. Family time was always special to her and she immensely enjoyed any time her family and close friends got together. She was happiest when her Wildwood home was filled with her children and grandchildren and loved spending time on the beach. She played accordion and inherited a love of music from her father, an accomplished trumpeter who played and recorded with big bands. She was employed by the Reges Oceanfront Resort in Wildwood Crest for many years prior to her retirement. Daughter of the late Joseph B. & Estelle T. Slowinski Perlingiero, wife of the late James F. Hann, Sr. and sister of the late Carol A. Mathieson (Robert). Estelle will be lovingly remembered by her children: Maryann Santitoro (Tom Knowlton), Ralph Santitoro (Sarah), JoAnn Baier (Mike), Francis Santitoro (Laura), and Luann Kildea (Shawn), her grandchildren: Sophia Santitoro; Cassy Mraw (Matt), Missy Riordon (Mike), and Jon Baier; Michael, Joseph, Alexandra, and Vincent Santitoro; Catherine, Matt, Jimmy, and Gracie Kildea and her grand-dogs: Stella and Cruz Kildea and Clancy Santitoro. She will be dearly missed by her special cousin and lifelong friend, Rose Jachetti. Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, December 19, 2019 from 10AM- 12:00 Noon in the daily chapel at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
