Obituary of Betsy Ann Dirk

Betsy Ann Dirk, 84, of Mercerville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 4, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving children.

Born in East Orange, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Mercerville. Betsy is a retiree of McGraw Hill and was a longtime member of Our Lady of Sorrows Roman Catholic Church in Mercerville.  Betsy enjoyed spending time with family and friends and vacationing in Aruba and St. Maarten.  She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, sister-in-law, aunt and friend who will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Predeceased by her parents Harold and Dorothy (Piegert) Smith, her husband John J. Dirk, Jr; she is survived by her children and their spouses Linda and Dale Booth, Judy and Tom Dill, Kathy Dirk and John and Celeste Dirk; her grandchildren, Brad and Kelsey Booth, Jaclyn and Jennifer Dill, Kaitlyn and Justin Dirk; her sister and brother-in-law, Carole and Donald Bauer;  her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Carol and Hugh Bryce; and several nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, December 7, 2019  at 11AM at St. Anthony Church 626 South Olden Avenue, Hamilton, NJ 08629.

Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.

The viewing for Betsy will be held on December 7th from 10-11 AM at the church

Memorial  donations can be made to The Hole in the Wall Gang Camp or a charity of your choice.
