Michael Jeremiah Agnes, 66, of Lawrenceville died peacefully on Thursday at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell.
 
Born in Camden, NJ Michael was a resident of Lawrenceville for over 20 years. He graduated with a B.A. degree from Villanova University, Class of 1976, and continued to support the school his entire life. He was a proud supporter of all the Philadelphia sports teams and was also an avid golfer.  
 
He was currently employed as the Senior Purchasing Agent for McDermott Inc. of Bloomfield, NJ having served the company many years through its transitions. 
 
Son of the late Jeremiah Vincent and Kathryn Eleanor Kelly Agnes, Michael is survived by his children, James W. Agnes, Kelly M. Agnes and Amy M. Agnes; his sisters Susan Wilson and her husband Bill and Mona Santonello and her husband Brian and his beloved dog Utley.
 
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Michael on Thursday October 31, 2019 at 11 AM at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Entombment will follow in Calvary Cemetery Mausoleum, Cherry Hill, NJ.
 
Visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday at the church from 10 AM until time of mass.
 
Memorial contributions to honor Michael may be made to his beloved college at Villanova University Foundation, 800 East Lancaster Avenue, Villanova, PA 19085.
