John W. Bodnar, 45, of Lawrenceville, died Sunday in Capital Health System at Fuld.
Born in Trenton, he had resided all of his life in Lawrence Township.
Mr. Bodnar was a stagehand at the Sovereign Bank Arena with Local #8 of the International Alliance of Theatrical Stagehands & Motion Pictures. He had formerly been employed at the Merry Go Round Bar, Lawrence Township Department of Public Works and Certified Steel.
Son of the late John Bodnar, and brother of the late Terry and Patricia Bodnar, he is survived by his wife Jill Schneck Bodnar, two daughters Brianna Bodnar and Nicole Young, two sons Richard and John Young, a granddaughter Alysha Green, and his mother Marge Kubin Bodnar. Also surviving are two sisters Margieann Mahon and her husband William, Joanne Conner and her husband Lee, a brother Thomas Bodnar and his wife Heather, his maternal grandmother Helen Roth, his godfather Bob Kubin and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and sisters-in-laws.
The funeral will be held on Friday at 11 AM from Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville with Reverend Nina Reeder, pastor of the Lawrence Road Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial will be in Sts. Peter & Paul Cemetery in Hamilton Township. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family in John's memory.
