Justin K. Berens, 37, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Thursday, October 24, 2019 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell.

Born in Princeton, NJ, he was a resident of Lawrenceville for 32 years.  Justin was a graduate of Lawrence High School Class of 2000 and the University of New Haven.  He was employed as an Information Technologist with the State of New Jersey Dept. of Treasury.  

Justin was an avid sports fan, enjoyed traveling, and loved spending time with his family.  He was lovable and always eager to help others.  Justin was loving and considerate, and a one-of-a-kind person.

Predeceased by his maternal grandparents Wallace and Joyce Stokes, his paternal grandmother Eileen Berens; he is survived by his father and mother Lance and Rose Berens, his brother Seth Berens; and his paternal grandfather Norman Berens.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 29th at 1:00 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.  All attendees are asked to arrive between 12:30-12:45PM as services will begin promptly at 1:00PM.

Interment will follow at Dayton Cemetery, Dayton, NJ.

There will be no visitation for Justin.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the American Heart Association 1 Union Street, Suite 301, Robbinsville, NJ 08691 or to the American Diabetes Association 1160 US Highway 22, Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
