Obituary of Dang Lythanh
Dang Lythanh, 97, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell.
Born in Vietnam, he was a longtime resident of Medford, NJ, before moving to Lawrenceville 18 years ago. Before he immigrated to the United States, Dang worked at Pasteur Institute in Saigon as the Chief of the laboratory and specialized in the production of the vaccine for tuberculosis. He enjoyed gardening and was a loving and devoted father, brother, uncle and friends.
Predeceased by parents his parents Chuong Ly and Lien Huynh, his brother Vinh Lythanh, his wife Cuc Leba; he is survived by his daughter Van Ly; his brothers Nghiep Lythanh, Tuu Lythanh and Le Lythanh; two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews.
The viewing for Dang will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2019 from 10-12 Noon at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Cremation will be held privately and at the convenience of the family
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the charity of the donor’s choice or to the Buddhist Temple of the donor’s choice.
