Obituary of Sheamus John O'Connor

Sheamus John O’Connor, 30, of Bordentown, passed away on Monday, August 26, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital, Hamilton, NJ.

Born in Princeton, NJ, he was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville before moving to Bordentown 6 years ago.  Sheamus was a 2007 graduate of Notre Dame High School and a graduate of Virginia Tech with a degree in finance.  He was employed by Dice Forwarding Company as a Logistics Manager.  Sheamus was an avid NY Giants fan and enjoyed golf and rugby.  He enjoyed hanging out with his wife, friends and family for Sunday dinners and was proud of his Irish heritage.

Predeceased by his maternal grandparents Jack and Doe McKenna, his paternal grandfather Michael E. O’Connor, and his uncle Daniel J. McKenna; he is survived by his wife Maura (nee Nixon) O’Connor; his parents Michael and Jacqueline O’Connor; his siblings Michael E. and Danielle (nee Fallon) O’Connor, Erin K. O’Connor and John J. O’Connor; his grandmother Mary O. Turner; his niece and nephews Shannon, Colin and Cormac O’Connor; his aunts and uncles Rita M. and Brian O’Connor, Annemarie and Wes Rigler, Carolan and Mark Sherman, Mary K. and Mike Socha, Lou and Nancy Breuning; Marianne and Jeff Thomas, Eileen and Tony Palminteri, John Ryan. John P. O’Connor, Richard Ryan and Brian and Lynn O’Connor; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Kevin and Judith Nixon; two sisters-in-law Sara DiDomenico and her husband Dominick, and Katherine Nixon; numerous cousins and many friends.

The funeral will begin on Saturday, August 31, 2019 at 9AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM at The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.                            

Interment will be held at Lawrenceville Cemetery.

The viewing for Sheamus will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 from 4-8PM at the funeral home.
