Col. Regina Curtis, MD PhD, US Army Retired, 72, of Carriere, MS, passed away on Tuesday, July 30, 2019 at home.

Born in Long Branch, she was a former resident of Lawrenceville, before moving to Carriere, Mississippi.  Regina was a graduate of Georgetown University and Case Western Medical School.  She retired from the US Army, where she was employed as Army Colonel Flight Surgeon, her career spanned 22 years of active service and reserve service.  Regina enjoyed traveling and was fluent in 5 different languages.

Predeceased by her mother Miriam Curtis; she is survived by her husband Douglas Forrest; her father Robert Curtis; her brother Robert Curtis, Jr., her sister Nancy Hannan; several nephews and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 12, 2019 at 10:30AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Interment with military honors will follow at Brigadier General Wm C Doyle Veterans Cemetery, N. Hanover, NJ.

The viewing for Regina will be held on Sunday, August 11, 2019 from 2-4PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Due to floral restrictions with the cemetery, memorial donations can be made in Regina’s memory to St. Ann Church Faith Development Center, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
