Obituary of Rene Negron
Rene Negron, 68, of Hamilton, passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at home.
Born in Utuado, Puerto Rico, he was a former resident of Trenton, before moving to Hamilton Township 29 years ago. Rene was a clerical administrator with the State of New Jersey Department of Health and Human Services for twenty-five years. He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to many who will be dearly missed. Rene was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church in Trenton. Some of his hobbies included singing and lending a hand to others in need or those who were less fortunate.
Predeceased by his parents Florentino and Elizabeth Negron, his brother Neftali Negron; he is survived by his wife Gladys; his son Carlos Negron; his adoring grandchildren Alexandra, Xavier and Jazmin Negron; his siblings Luis Negron, Wilfredo Negron, Hilda Santiago, Blanca Torres and Eva Marrero; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral services will follow on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 10:00AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. The Reverend Waleska Trinidad will officiate.
Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
The viewing for Rene will be held on Friday evening from 5-7PM and again on Saturday morning from 9:30-10:00AM at the funeral home.
