Obituary of Margaret Sommers Clugston

Margaret Mulhall Sommers Clugston, 100, died peacefully at home on Sunday June 30, 2019.

Born in Jersey City and a resident of Forked River for many years she was a resident of Lawrenceville for the past 7 years.

 Daughter of the late Patrick and Mary Jane Mulhall, wife of the late Bernard Sommers and Harry Clugston she is also predeceased by her siblings Agnes, James, Alice, Rita and Annamarie, her son Richard Sommers and her son-in-law Francis X. McCormick, Jr. Margaret is survived by her daughter Marilyn McCormick with whom she resided, her son Bernard Sommers, her step-son Rick Clugston and his wife Wendy; her grandchildren Ryan McCormick (Nicole), Shannon McCormick Kerr (Geordie), Meggan McCormick (Shawn Ploe), Kimberly Sommers, Kerri Fortney (DJ), Allison Sommers, Craig Sommers and Michael Sommers. Also surviving are her step-grandchildren Shirley Clugston (Mike), Sandy Clugston, Janice McBride (John), her former daughter-in-law Suzanne LeMae, 20 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Margaret on Saturday, July 20, 2019 at 10:30 AM at the Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville. Burial will be private. Visitation for family and friends will be on Saturday from 10 AM until time of mass at the Church of St. Ann.
