Gary Robert Lashutka,60, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Sunday, June 16, 2019 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong area resident.  Gary was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1976.  After graduating from high school, Gary enlisted in the United States Marine Corps, honorably serving his country.  He was a member of the New Jersey National Guard.  Some of his hobbies included watching NHRA Drag Races, NASCAR, rooting for his favorite drive Chase Elliott, listening to Jimmy Buffet, going to Broadway shows, the theatre and the opera.  Gary was a former member and volunteer at Slackwood Fire Company. 

Predeceased by his parents Walter “Pete” and Dolores Lashutka; he is survived by his wife Linda Lashutka; his siblings Karen J. Lashutka, and Maryann and James Leming; uncles and aunts Mickey and Betty Lashutka, Peg and Raymond Kostar, Kathy and Bill Martin and Danny and Joan Kostar; his father-in-law and mother-in-law John R. and Juanita Lewis; his brother-in-law John J. Lewis; two nephews John A. and Jake Lewis; and family friend Donna Perna.

Interment of cremated remains will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2019 at 9:30AM at     Washington Crossing National Cemetery,  830 Highland Rd, Newtown, PA 18940.  Tel: (215) 504-5610.  All attendees are asked to arrive to the cemetery no later than 9:15AM. 

**Per the request of the family, please don’t wear dark colored clothing, wear your favorite Hawaiian shirt or something pastel in color.**
