Obituary of Miroslaw Kozikowski
Miroslaw Kozikowski, 59, of Lawrenceville, passed away in Poland on Sunday May 19th.
Born in Skroda Wielka, Poland, he immigrated to the United States 32 years ago. He was a firefighter in Poland before he moved to the USA in which he worked for NJ Porcelain until he began working for a tile company. He was a parishioner at St. Hedwig Church in Trenton for many years. Miroslaw was selfless, caring, talented, and a devoted father. He loved his family more than anything. He enjoyed fishing and was a farmer at heart who loved caring for his chickens and his beloved pigeons. Miroslaw loved sports, especially soccer, he and his beloved wife enjoyed rooting for polish teams. He was a hardworking man with many talents that took pride in all his work.
Predeceased by his parents Tadeusz and Regina Kozikowski, brother Wieslaw Kozikowski. Miroslaw Kozikowski is survived by his wife of 26 years Halina Kozikowska, son Sebastian Kozikowski, stepchildren Robert Nowak, Daniel Nowak and spouse Whitney Nowak, Magdalena Zawadzka and spouse Dariusz Zawadzki, sister Halina Stachelska, two brothers Waclaw and Jerzy Kozikowski and their families, and grandchildren Wioletta, Beata, Marek, Makayla and Scarlett.
The funeral will begin on Saturday, June 1, 2019 at 9AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10AM at St. Hedwig Church, 872 Brunswick Avenue, Trenton, NJ 08638.
Inurnment will follow at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing Twp.
The visitation will be held on Friday evening from 6-8M at the funeral home.
