Obituary of Christopher M. Maffei

Christopher M. Maffei, 58, of Lawrenceville, passed away on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 at Capital Health Medical Center, Hopewell.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong Lawrenceville resident. Christopher is a graduate of Lawrence High School. He worked for many years at General Motors in Ewing and Maffei Chiropractic in Lawrenceville as a Massage Therapist.  He later worked for Firmenich Inc. in Plainsboro. Christopher had a heart of gold and was passionate about helping others. Always the life of the party, he enjoyed dancing and playing soccer, golf, baseball, basketball, horseshoes, fishing, poker and immersed himself in creative writing. Christopher truly appreciated life and cherished being called Dad.

Predeceased by his parents Emilio and Charlotte Maffei; his brothers Jeffrey, Gregory and Joseph Maffei; he is survived by his children Christin Maffei-Migliore and her husband Massimiliano; his son Christopher Maffei, Jr.; his partner Elizabeth “Liz” Martini; his brother and sister-in-law Dr. David and Leona Maffei; the mother of his children Patricia Coffee; and many beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The viewing for Christopher will be held on Monday, May 20, 2019 from 9:00-10:30AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Interment will follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Hamilton.
