Obituary of Vicki Sue Zakaria

Vicki Sue Zakaria, 59, of Lawrenceville, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by family and friends on May 7th, 2019 after a long battle with leukemia. Born in York, Pennsylvania, Vicki started her career in the technology field before transitioning to her true passion as an entrepreneur in fashion. She enjoyed spending time with her family at the beach and was a lifelong lover of animals and nature. One of Vicki's greatest joys was watching her youngest son's baseball games, and she was greatly looking forward to watching her son continue his baseball career in college.

Vicki is survived by her parents Arlene Fry and Norman (Dianne) Fry and Daun Metzler, her husband Abderrazak Zakaria, and her children Matthew Mailman (Candice Morocco), Alexandra Mailman (Keats Sexton) and Adam Zakaria, as well as her sisters Jodi (Donald) McLane, Beth (Neal) Lutz and Jane (Doug) Walker and many nieces and nephews: Donnie (Ale), Dylan (Maggie Glaudemans), Chelsea, and Chloe McLane, Corrine Claghorn, Tanner and Kameron Sauter, and Alicia Walker. She is predeceased by her father Jim Metzler and grandparents Maryon and Norman Metzler, Emma Mae and Wilmer Hartman, and Effie and Herbert Fry. She is missed beyond words by so many people.

A memorial gathering for Vicki with be held on Tuesday, May 14th from 5 -8 pm with a celebration of life service at 6:30 pm at
Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville NJ 08648
