Obituary of Teresa A. Tataranowicz

Teresa A. Tataranowicz, 91, of Bordentown died peacefully on Tuesday at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Unit at Morris Hall.

Born in Trenton Teresa was a resident of Lawrence Township most of her life before moving to The Clare Estate in Bordentown. Teresa was a graduate of Cathedral High School, Class of 1947. She was a retiree of the Hibbert Group where she was employed for many years. After retiring from the Hibbert Group she continued to work as a sales clerk with the Kohl’s Department Store.

She was a member of St. Hedwig Roman Catholic Church, the Altar Rosary Society and the St. Hedwig Sodality. She volunteered many hours in the Trenton community.

Teresa was predeceased by her parents Michael and Stephania Prosalowska Tataranowicz, brother Charles Taranowicz and his wife Dorine, niece Bernadette Bac and brother-in-law Carmello R. Guagliardo. She is survived by her brother Anthony Tataranowicz, sister Anne Guagliardo and her nieces Barbara Czepiga (Walter), Patricia Smith (Richard), Catherine Vasil (Michael), Denise Bencivengo and Renee Guagliardo.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Teresa on Friday at 11 AM at St. Hedwig Catholic Church, Trenton, NJ. Burial will follow in St. Hedwig Cemetery in Ewing.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be held on Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ.
