Anthony M. Battaglia, 69, of Columbus, NJ, passed away on Friday, April 19, 2019 at home.

Born in Little Falls, NY, he was a longtime resident of Hamilton, before moving to Columbus 1 ½ years ago.  Anthony is a retiree of the Hamilton Township Police Department, where he was a Police Officer for 34 years.  Some of his hobbies included camping and fishing.  Anthony was a handyman, loved restoring his 77’ Corvette, hot rods and enjoyed trips to Florida.

Predeceased by his parents Anthony and Joanna Battaglia; his siblings Richard Sulwikowski and Jean DeVasto; he is survived by his wife Christine Battaglia (nee Parker); his children Ryan and Tabitha; his godmother Mary Buczko; his mother-in-law Barbara Parker; his sister-in-law Beverly Parker; his brother-in-law and sister-in-law Brian and Penny Parker; several nieces, nephews, and cousins; his feline Chase.

Funeral services will follow on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 12 Noon at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.

Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.

The viewing for Anthony will be held on Saturday morning from 9:00AM-12:00Noon at the funeral home.
