Obituary of Carolyn L. Hunt

Carolyn L. “Baby” Hunt, 74, of Yardville died peacefully on Sunday at Greenwood House in Ewing Township.

Born in Allentown, NJ Carolyn was a resident of Hamilton Township most of her life. She began a career of over 50 years in retail sales beginning at the age of 17 while still in high school working at E. J. Korvetts and continued working at various retail stores throughout her career with Kings Department Store at the Trenton Fairgrounds, Clover Department Store and currently was with Walmart at the Hamilton Market Place.

Daughter of the late Wilbert F. Albertson Sr. and Helen Callen Albertson, sister of the late Wilbert F. Albertson, Jr., Richard Albertson and Helen Taylor; Carolyn is survived by her children, Jennifer Young and her husband Greg, Jeffrey Hunt and Douglas Hunt and his wife Angelina; her grandchildren, Christopher and Stephanie Young and Ryan, Dylan and Brody Hunt; her siblings, Harry, Charles and Robert Albertson and Mary Ann Braun and many nieces and nephews including her special niece Winnie Malagrino.

Funeral services for Carolyn will be held on Friday at 10 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road Lawrenceville, NJ 08648 with the Rev. Megan E. Thomas, Priest in Charge at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Ewing officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery.

Visitation for relatives and friends will be on Thursday from 6 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
