Obituary of Bernice Tattory
Bernice Tattory, 83, of Hamilton, passed away on Sunday, February 10, 2019 at Care One at Hamilton.
Born in Newark, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville, before moving to Hamilton 6 years ago. Bernice retired from Notre Dame High School, where she was employed as the school nurse for 22 years. She was a parishioner at The Church of St. Ann for 47 years. Some of her hobbies included spending time with her family and friends, summers in Long Beach Island and reading.
Predeceased by her parents Thomas and Rose Moore, her husband Dr. Carl Tattory; she is survived by her children Carol Pitonyak, Paul, John and Christopher Tattory; her daughters-in-law Christine Tattory, Angela Tattory, and Karen Marks; her son-in-law George Pitonyak; her grandchildren Nicole Pitonyak (Juan Garcia), Kevin Pitonyak (Laura Abraham), Michael, Lindsey, Andrew, Mark, Madeleine, Lydia and Destiny Tattory; four great-grandchildren Kayla, Audrina, Joshua and Landon.
The funeral will begin on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 10AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM at The Church of St. Ann 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Interment will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
The viewing for Bernice will be on Friday evening from 6-8PM and again on Saturday morning from 9-10AM at the funeral home.
