Wilhelmina Helen Steepy Masine, 93, of Upper Makefield, died Friday in Pickering Manor in Newtown. Born in Trenton, and a former Hamilton Township resident, she had resided in Upper Makefield for ten years. Mrs. Masine retired in 1980 from the State of New Jersey as a principal clerk after nineteen years of service. Daughter of the late George and Helen Christoph Steepy and mother-in-law of the late Gerald Ashmen, she is survived by her husband of sixty-eight years John P. Masine, a daughter Joan H. Ashmen, and two grandsons Jerry J. Ashmen and his wife Amy and Jeffrey S. Ashmen and his wife Jill. Also surviving are a great granddaughter Jacklyn Ashmen, a brother Clarence Steepy and his wife Liv, a sister Helen Spedding and her husband Harold, two sisters-in-law Marie Burns and her husband William and Sarah Steepy, a brother-in-law Chris Walter and several nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held on Monday at 11 AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, Lawrenceville. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Family and friends may call on Monday from 10AM till the time of the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Telephone Pioneers #81, C/O Lou Mohr, 115 Winding Way, Morrisville, PA. 19067-4822.
