Obituary of Meggan Mae Strigel

Meggan Mae Strigel, 41, of Hamilton, NJ, passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2018, at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, PA.

Born in Pittsburgh, PA, Meggan was raised in Bethel Park, PA and Naperville, Illinois before moving to West Windsor in 1992. Meggan moved to Hamilton eight years ago and was employed at the State of New Jersey Office of Elections before leaving this position to stay home and raise her children. A devoted wife, mother, daughter and sister, Meggan cherished times with family and friends. She especially loved time with her children while cheering them on at their basketball, baseball and soccer games. Meggan enjoyed every moment of being involved in many community and school activities, as well as, being an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.

Meggan is survived by her loving husband, Marc B. Strigel; her children, Anthony and Rylee; her parents, Denny and Linda (McClosky) Mathies; her brother, Archie Mathies; her sister and brother-in-law, Annie and Josh Silverman; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Gregory and Carolyn Strigel; her sister-in-law and brothers-in-law Lisa and Dan Maher, and Jason Strigel; and her aunts, uncle, cousins, nieces and nephews

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, November 3, 2018, at 10:00 a.m. at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrenceville Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648, with interment immediately following.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Friday, November 2, 2018, from 12:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at the Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
