Obituary of Phyllis Palmere Spych
Phyllis Palmere Spych, 95, of Ewing Township passed away on Tuesday, October 23, 2018 at Brookdale Senior Living in Hamilton, NJ.
Phyllis was the loving matriarch of the family. She was enthusiastic about life and full of love. Born in Trenton, NJ in 1923, she graduated from Trenton Central High School. She received special training from the Civil Aeronautics Administration and was a Parachute Technician during World War II with Switlik Parachute Company. She also worked for RCA Corporation and the New Jersey State Department of Health, Division of Statistics for thirty-five years before retiring in 2000. Phyllis was a member of the Rosary and Alter Society of The Church of Saint Ann.
Daughter of the late Samuel and Caterina Palmere, wife of late husband Edward J. Spych, bothers Joseph, Vincent and sister-in-law Gloria Palmere. She is survived by her loving daughter Sandra Schemelia, and loving granddaughters Victoria and Anthony Grasso and Emily and Beau Woodrick, and her sister Ann Palmere DeAngelo as well as many nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, October 27, 2018 at 11AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Interment will be held at St. Hedwig Cemetery, Ewing.
The viewing for Phyllis will be held on Saturday morning from 9:30-11:00AM in the chapel at the church.
