Obituary of Josephine DiDonato

Josephine DiDonato, 93, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Monday, October 22, 2018 at Capital Health Regional Medical Center with her family at her side.

Born in Trenton, NJ, Josephine was a lifelong resident of Lawrenceville. She is a retiree of Heinemann Electric. Josephine was a lifelong parishioner at The Church of St. Ann and a member of the Lawrence Senior Center. Some of her hobbies included crocheting, cooking, sewing, baking and spending time with her family.

Predeceased by her parents Antonio and Maria Spezio, brother Joseph Spezio; sister and brother-in-law Rose Marie and Michael Casoria; her daughter Donna DiDonato, her husband Daniel DiDonato; she is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Dwaine and Diane DiDonato; granddaughter Melissa DiDonato; niece Rita Scozzari; nephew Paul and his wife Susan DiDonato; great-niece Denise Meinster; goddaughter Barbara Nester; and many special nieces and nephews.

The funeral will begin on Friday, October 26, 2018 at 10:30AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11AM at The Church of St. Ann, 1253 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08658.

Entombment will follow at St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Hamilton.

The viewing for Josephine will be held on Friday morning from 9-10:30AM at the funeral home.
