Obituary of Vincent Mule'
Vincent “Jimmy” Mule’, 89, of Ewing, passed away on Friday, October 12, 2018 at Millennium Memory Care at Monroe.
Born in Trenton, NJ he was a resident of Ewing for 54 years. Jimmy was a Veteran of the Korean Conflict, with time spent at Chosin in the Chosin Reservoir Campaign, and assisting many Koreans safely to now South Korea, having proudly served his country with the US Army. The owner of Mule’ Plumbing and Heating, a business that he started, he continued to work as a plumber long after retirement.
With his brothers, Jimmy built several houses in the mountains and enjoyed skiing there with his family. He played golf with his closest friends well into his 80s. He is the holder of several patents; inventing throughout his life was his passion. He showed his love for life to everyone who knew him; strong-willed he faced every challenge without fear to fail.
Son of the late John and Santina Mule’ he is survived by his wife Joyce P. Mule’, one son Vincent A. Mule’, two daughters and sons-in-law Marisa Mule’ Van Horn and her husband Christian Van Horn, Lydia and Christopher Holland, two grandchildren Nathan Wieczorek and Liam Holland, his sisters Jay Ciccone, Katherine Calderone, Frances Marino, Priscilla Risoldi, and Marlene Parishy, numerous nieces and nephews, and predeceased by his siblings Sam, Joe, Grace, Jenny, and Rose.
A funeral service will follow on Saturday, October 20, 2018 at 11AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
Interment will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery.
The viewing for Jimmy will be held on Saturday morning from 9-11AM at the funeral home.
