Obituary of Martha W Williams

Martha W. Williams, 77, of Holland, PA. died Tuesday at St. Mary's Medical Center in Langhorne. Born in Long Branch, New Jersey, and a former resident of Effort, PA., she had resided in Holland, PA. for three years. Mrs. Williams attended Mary Washington College and graduated from the Red Bank Business Institute. She was a retired executive secretary to the Superintendent of Schools for the Pleasant Valley Public Schools in Brodheadsville PA. Daughter of the late Walter R. and Louise Laird Woolley, wife of the late James L. Williams and sister of the late Joseph Laird Woolley, she is survived by five nephews Walter C. Woolley and his wife Barbara, Joseph L. Woolley and his wife Patti Reiser Woolley, Peter W. Woolley and his fiance Sally Mc Cumstie, David B. Woolley and his wife Sonia and Samuel R. Woolley Also surviving are seven great nieces and nephew and six great great nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 11 AM at Twining Manor, 1400 Old Jordan Road in Holland in the Manor Chapel. Family and friends may call on Thursday from 6 to 7 PM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, New Jersey. A graveside interment service will be held on Friday at 1 PM in the Easton Cemetery in Easton PA. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Martha's name be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
