Obituary of Sylvia Marcus Ross
Sylvia Marcus Ross, 94, of Hamilton died peacefully on Monday, October 1, 2018 at Mercerville Center, Hamilton.
Born in Princeton, Sylvia was a longtime resident of Lawrenceville before her recent move to Hamilton. She had a long employment career working for the Gallop Poll Organization, Trinity Church, Princeton High School, McGraw-Hill, Princeton Day School, the Chapin School Princeton and private domestic work for many families.
In her free time Sylvia enjoyed doing word search puzzles, gardening and enjoying time at the pool.
Daughter of the late Antonio and Mary Petrone, mother of the late John Marcus, Jr., sister of the late Carmen, Frank, Victor, Albert and Fred Petrone, Anna Elias, Emma LaHaire and Edith Benedetti, and wife of the late John Marcus and Vincent Ross; she is survived by her three daughters, Jacqueline Myers, Janice Klein and her husband Howard and Carol Pannone and her husband Fred; her two granddaughters Sherri Pignona and Amy Watson. Also surviving are many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
In keeping with Sylvia’s wishes a private family only service was held.
