Obituary of Dolores Lenarski

Dolores R. Lenarski, 85, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, September 26, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice., Hamilton.

Born and raised in Trenton, NJ, she was a former resident of Ewing, before moving to Lawrenceville 34 years ago.  Dolores is a retiree of the Mercer County Library Systems, where she was employed in Technical Services for many years.  She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.  She was a member of the Ewing Women’s Club, a dedicated member of her church Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Lawrenceville and enjoyed jazzercize.

Daughter of the late Mildred Hovemeyer, wife of the late Joseph S. Lenarski; she is survived by her children and their spouses Christine and Robert Evans, Mark and Jackee Lenarski, Jeffrey and Cathy Lenarski, Joseph and Judy Lenarski; her sister Carol Witzel, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.

The funeral will begin on Monday, October 1, 2018 at 10AM at Poulson & Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Road, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.  Funeral liturgy will follow at 11AM at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church   2730 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.                          

Interment will follow at Ewing Church Cemetery, Scotch Rd., Ewing.

Relatives and friends can call on Sunday afternoon from 3-6PM and again on Monday morning from 9-10AM at the funeral home.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Dr. George E. Gushue, DO and the staff of Compassionate Care Hospice for their care and support.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made in Dolores’s memory to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church 2730 Princeton Pike, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
