Emma Catalano Patanella, 97, of Lawrenceville died peacefully Thursday at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Unit at Morris Hall with her family by her side.

Born in New York City, Emma resided there until moving to Lawrenceville in 2001 to be near her family.

Daughter of the late John and Anna Catapano Catalano, wife of the late Rosario “Sam” Patanella and mother of the late Linda Ann Patanella, she is survived by her son, Richard Patanella and his wife Judith; her grandchildren, Michael Patanella, Nicholas Patanella and Lisa Fasanella; her great-grandchildren, Andrew and Emily Fasanella and several nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated for Emma on Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at 12 Noon at Our Lady of the Rosary Chapel at Morris Hall, 1 Bishops’ Drive, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Woodside NY.

Visitation will be from 11 AM until Mass time at the chapel.

Memorial Contributions in Emma’s name may be made to St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Unit, 1 Bishops’ Dr., Lawrenceville, NJ 08648.
