Obituary of Phyllis Capes Mesday
Phyllis Capes Mesday, 89, of Hamilton, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018 at Brookdale, Hamilton, NJ.
Born in Princeton, NJ, she was a former resident of Columbus, NJ, before moving to Hamilton 16 months ago. She was a loving and devoted mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Phyllis enjoyed gardening and will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Predeceased by her parents James and Lottie Capes (nee Stefanski), sister of the late Floyd, Raymond and Edward Capes, Verna Underwood, Kathryn Harmer and Helen Robbins; mother of the late Robert P. Mesday, grandmother of the late Robert C. Mesday and wife of the late Harry J. Mesday; she is survived by her children and their spouses Sharon and Ernie Coluccio; Harry J. and Jane Mesday and Kenneth and Sue Mesday; her grandchildren Kristina Coluccio Foley, David and Michael Coluccio, Matthew, Daniel, Michael, Jeffry, Joey and Zachary Mesday; five great-grandchildren Ava, Sophia and Audrey Foley, Dante and Dominic Coluccio; four sisters Joan Taglairino, Lottie Pierzhanowski, Irene Capes and Delores Benson; her brother Joseph Capes; sister-in-law Ann Pagliaro; several nieces and nephews.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at 11AM at St. Gregory the Great Roman Catholic Church, 4620 Nottingham Way, Hamilton, NJ 08690
Interment will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, Hamilton.
The viewing for Phyllis will be held on Tuesday morning from 9-11AM at the church.
