Obituary of Mason Brown

Mason Brown, age 5, passed away July 10th, 2018 in his home in Ewing, NJ peacefully surrounded by family. 

Mason was born June 13th, 2013 in Hopewell Township, NJ to Rachel Voorhees and William Brown, Jr.  He was diagnosed with neuronal ceroid lipofuscinosis at the age of 3. He was a fighter and bravely fought until the very end.  Mason attended Anthiel Elementary School for preschool. He loved the color yellow, Spongebob, Minions, Mickey Mouse, music, and animals.

He is survived by his parents, Rachel Voorhees and William Brown, Jr., of Ewing, NJ, maternal and fraternal grandparents, as well as a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. 

A Catholic memorial service will be held on Friday, July 13, 2018, at 10am at St. Mary’s Cathedral, 151 N. Warren St, Trenton, NJ 08608.  Calling hours will be held on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 1pm-3pm at Poulson and Van Hise Funeral Directors, 650 Lawrence Rd, Route 206, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648. Burial will be private. 

The family requests that any floral arrangements be exclusively yellow flowers. In lieu of flowers, we request donations to Mason’s Funeral Fund, which can be found on his Facebook page, Mason and NCL.
