Obituary of Janet Grace Meerbott

Janet Grace Meerbott,79, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Penn Medicine Princeton Health, Plainsboro, NJ.

Born in Jersey City, NJ, she was a longtime resident of Tinton Falls, before moving to Lawrenceville 8 years ago.  Janet is a retiree of 61 Associates, where she was employed as an administrative assistant.   She enjoyed traveling to Italy, Egypt, Israel, Indonesia, France, Greece and Japan with lifelong friends, Phyllis Cullen, Rosemarie Geremia, Joann Spina and Janet Sorrentino.  Janet’s family and friends were her everything and there was nothing more she enjoyed than creating memories with them.  Her nieces, Janet and Kathy brought such happiness to her life, but her pure joy was found with her four grandnieces and grandnephew. 

Daughter of the late Frank and Grace Meerbott, sister of the late Nancy Meerbott Lawlor; she is survived by her nieces and their spouses Janet and Timothy Sinkewicz and Kathleen and Patrick Westhoven; her grandnieces Grace and Teagan Sinkewicz, Maeve and Kayla Westhoven, and her grandnephew Sean Westhoven; special friend Trudy Fitzpatrick and her wonderful family; her goddaughter and her family Mia Sorrentino McCabe; her special cousin William Keddie Meerbott and his family who always kept in touch with his New Jersey family.

Funeral services will be held privately and at the convenience of the family.
