Obituary of Mary Agnes Sadler
Mary Agnes Sadler, 95, of Lawrenceville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 2, 2018 at St. Joseph’s Skilled Nursing Center, Lawrenceville.
Born in Manhattan, Mary resided in New York City for most of the first thirty-five years of her life. At about Age 10, Mary lived for four years with her mother, maternal grandparents, and younger siblings in Aughnagarron, County Longford, Ireland, following the death of her 42 year-old father, NYFD’s William Henry. Returning to Brooklyn, NY as a young teenager, she met and later married her beloved husband, Jack, in 1942. She moved first to Hillside in 1956 and then to Piscataway, NJ in 1966 with Jack to raise her family. Mary was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her. Some of her hobbies included reading, sewing, dancing (jitterbug and peabody), and listening to music.
Daughter of the late William and Mary Reilly Henry; sister of the late Kathleen McIlmurray, William Henry and Margaret Ahern; she is survived by her daughters and their spouses Jean and Eugene Savron, Karen and Whitney Bolton, and Noreen and Donald Lilley; four grandchildren Lana Abbott, Eileen Kaczor, Lori Glynn, Brian Kaczor; three step-grandchildren, Sarah Bolton, Kate Lilley Cairns, and Claudia Lilley; twelve great-grandchildren Camden, Emily, Emma, Gage, Grace, Ryan, Tagh, Jack, Gavin, Aaron, Juliet, and Annabelle; numerous nieces and nephews, whom she adored.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 at 1:00PM at Our Lady of Rosary Chapel, Morris Hall, 1 Bishops Drive, Lawrenceville, NJ 08648, preceded by a viewing at 12 noon.
Entombment will be held on Wednesday, May 9 at 11AM at Resurrection Cemetery, Piscataway, NJ.
Relatives and friends can call on Tuesday May 8 from 12-1PM in the chapel.
